We gathered to honor Gregory Charles Babcock on his retirement, celebrating 44 years of compassion and dedication. Thank you, Greg, for your years of service and the lasting legacy you leave behind. We wish you a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and adventure.
Congratulations to Donna Doherty, recipient of the Rose Award for Extraordinary Nurses. A Certificate of Special Recognition was presented to Donna on October 9, 2025, at BID in recognition of her extraordinary nursing career. We thank Donna for her unwavering commitment to patient care, mentorship, and community service.

A special thank you to Jean Gouveia, Dean of Students, and Jeannie Gonzales, Financial Aid Director at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing (BHSON), for their attendance. We are pleased to announce the 2025 recipients of the Ann Philomena O’Flaherty Award, which supports undergraduate nursing students:
– Samantha Melberg (GPA 3.78) — $2,500.00
– Brittany Powers (GPA 3.75) — $1,000.00
– Nathan Rodriguez (GPA 3.54) — $1,000.00
Furthermore, the Massachusetts Nurses Honor Guard Ann O’s Watch Award, established in memory of Ann Philomena O’Flaherty, continues to support BHSON students who demonstrate excellence in elderly care and financial need. The application for this $2,500.00 scholarship will be available in April 2026.
